

MrKrazyMan is a multidisciplinary visual creator from Guatemala. He is work is recognized for his distinctive character design aesthetic, which gathers up a colorful anti status-quo graphic speech with topics like ugliness, error, distortion and death. He frequently employs mixed media as a technique to develop paintings, digital artwork, and murals.
His career beginnings go back to his teen years where he got in touch with hip-hop culture through his classmates; this would lead him to begin a path in graffiti and eventually street art. He co-founded the local hip-hop collective Última Dosis in 2012; a crew of local artists from different hip hop elements such as MCing, Djing and Graffiti.
He has painted at several relevant regional muralism events like Bonito Mi Barrio (2014), Converse Block Party (2012), National Olympic Committee’s Graffiti Festival (2021) among others. His work has been shown in countries like Mexico, Bolivia, United States, Germany, Spain and Colombia; MrKrazyMan’s work has also been published in books like Sticker Mestizo (Colombia, 2018) and De Mi Barrio a tu Barrio (Germany, 2014).
In 2020 he was shortlisted finalist in the experimental category of the Brightness Illustration Awards. He was was also recently named one of the 50 most relevant guatemalan illustrators in the last 15 years by Revista Capiusa (2021) and featured among 200 worldwide illustrators in the character design exhibition "Proud Flags Of The United Character Nations" during Pictolplasma Berlin Festival (2021).
